Privacy Policy
This website is operated by Prime Calibre Pty Ltd, an Australian proprietary company, ABN 76 678 167 407 ("Prime Calibre", "we", "us"). This page explains, plainly, what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect almost nothing, we don't sell anything we collect, and we never use it to advertise to you.
Who we are
This website is operated by Prime Calibre Pty Ltd, an Australian proprietary company, ABN 76 678 167 407. Prime Calibre Pty Ltd is the entity responsible for personal information collected through this website. Contact: [email protected].
What this site collects
This site is a static, brochure-style website. It does not have user accounts, comments, forms, or e-commerce. The personal information involved is limited to:
- Server access logs. Our hosting provider (HostGator) automatically records standard request information — IP address, user-agent string, referrer, requested URL, timestamp, and HTTP status. These logs exist for security, abuse-detection, and basic operational purposes and are retained per our hosting provider's defaults.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data. It records aggregate page-view counts, referrers, country (not city or IP), and device type. It cannot identify you across sessions or across sites.
- Email correspondence you choose to send us. If you email contact@, talent@, or [email protected], we will obviously receive your email and the address you sent it from. We use this to reply to you.
- Fonts loaded from Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com. Google receives the IP address of any visitor as part of that request. We do not control Google's processing of that data.
We do not use cookies for tracking, behavioural advertising, or audience-building. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with marketing partners.
Privacy law and legal bases
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to a visitor from those regions, we additionally rely on:
- Legitimate interests for server logs, security, and aggregate cookieless analytics — narrowly scoped to the operation and protection of the website.
- Consent if any future feature requires it (none currently does).
- Performance of, or steps to enter into, a contract when you contact us about an engagement.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Our hosting provider, HostGator, to the extent inherent in serving the site.
- Cloudflare, for the cookieless analytics described above.
- Google, to the extent that loading Google Fonts transmits your IP address to Google.
- Authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not transfer it to ad networks or data brokers.
International transfers
We are based in Australia. Because our hosting, CDN, and email providers are global, personal information may be processed outside Australia — including in New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Before disclosing personal information overseas we take steps reasonable in the circumstances, as required by Australian Privacy Principle 8. Where required, transfers from the UK/EEA rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses operated by the relevant provider.
Retention
Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider (typically a small number of weeks). Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is operationally relevant, then archived or deleted. Aggregate analytics are not personal information and are retained on a rolling basis.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information; to withdraw consent; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. If you are in Australia and you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surface a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
